2019 Word of the year

"Grab your brave self and get ready to flourish"

For the last 3 years I’ve picked a word of the year. As I began thinking of my word for 2019, the list started to look like the following:

Intentional
Execute
Discipline
Consistency
Clarity
Focus
Worthy
Flourish
Commitment

While writing my list of goals and intentions for my personal and professional life, the word flourish kept speaking to my spirit. That's when I knew what word would represent my 2019.

I love the definition of flourish. It means to “grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.” It truly fits as this year I intend to focus on things that enrich my mind, body, and soul.

Now while flourish is my word of 2019, the other words listed above represent what daily actions are needed to ensure that I do FLOURISH this year.....

In order to be clear about what it is that I want, I must have clarity. I must focus and be intentional each day. It will take discipline, commitment, and consistency to execute the goals/intentions I set. Last but not least, I am worthy of so much more!
